It is a cheap welder and it has some definite advantages over similarly priced welders. It has DC output so the inverter technology is fairly efficient. So that you can get the full rated output out of 120 volts.

  1. Spool lock, spring, spool spacer, spool, push all of them into the spindle. Then slide the spool lock clockwise to lock them. Like image 1.
  2. The idle roll arm can now be rotated away from the wire feed drive roll by releasing the spring-loaded thumb screw.
  3. Remove the wire end from the spool.
